Pumpkin Patch

Today was such a busy day!

Today was the first day Juliette got solids. She had some apples. She liked the taste but has no idea what to do with it so most of it came out. It's a learning curve :)

We took Jillian to a mock vote, but it was real ballots and a real polling place. The lady from the newspaper was there and took her info and pictures and said she might be in the paper. Cute! She voted in the general election of course but also on road bonds, school uniforms, and some other stuff.

Afterwards, we went to Costco since we live there. Actually we needed stuff for Jillian's lunch since she drink their organic chocolate milk and some other stuff. We spent a mere $75. That was like 3 items or something. We went back home and Johnny and Lupe came over and played with the kids awhile. I made some strange beef, cream cheese, Total cereal, heavy whipping cream, and egg concoction for the dog. I looked online and it's listed that as the weight gain recipe. Then you freeze the meatballs and then take them out a few at a time as needed. It's odd all right but the dog likes them.

Then we took the girls to the Pumpkin Patch. On the way there, Jenevieve and Juliette fell asleep. Notice how they were holding hands. Jenevieve ALWAYS does this to Juliette. It's the sweetest thing ever. Today I was lucky enough to have the camera and not be driving. Once there, they enjoyed the hay maze and also Jillian enjoyed picking out a pumpkin for Juliette. They are planning on carving tomorrow.

We grabbed some dinner then went on the Girl Scout Night Hike. It was fun and the girls enjoyed themselves. Jillian enjoyed seeing her friends and Jenevieve enjoyed the trail mix plus the fact that she was in the Baby Hawk so she got toted everywhere.

Jillian WAS going to go on the Haunted Trail with Jason in the neighborhood. All day long she'd been saying she could tough it out. I told her it would be horrible and she'd have nightmares and it would be super scary. I asked some neighbors and they all said it was pretty darn scary. Well, as we pulled into the driveway after the Night Hike Jillian finally relented and said she thought it was a good idea if she just went to bed. Thank Goodness!
